Kiehl’s Turmeric and Cranberry Seed Energising Radiance Masque review

I’ve been on a bit of an exfoliation quest recently. You know when you just use the same products day in, day out and don’t make the extra effort to try new formulas or brands, or even make the time to exfoliate? I’ve had that. I put my hand up and say I, Charlie, have been stuck in a lazy skincare rut. And I’m sorry, because that my friends, has resulted in unexfoliated, dull skin. Not a good look.

I decided to get myself back on track by making sure I exfoliate AT LEAST three times a week. Part of my exfoliation quest is to not only make sure I do it on a regular basis, but also to test out different products; the first one being the Kiehl’s Turmeric and Cranberry Seed Energising Radiance Masque.

I love Kiehl’s – I already use their Calendula facewash and Ultra Facial Cream every day (which I wrote about earlier this year) so I had high hopes for this masque.

An ‘instant facial’

The Turmeric and Cranberry Seed Energising Radiance Masque is described as an ‘instant facial’. It has a thick, paste-like texture and a light orange hue from the turmeric. The cranberry seeds have been crushed so they’re really small, but you can still feel them working their magic.

The great thing about the Turmeric and Cranberry Seed Energising Radiance Masque is that you only need to apply a thin layer, which dries in 10 minutes flat. There’s no waiting around to get a crusty face and not being able to talk. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

To remove it, you just add a little warm water and circulate the cranberry seeds over your face for a really gentle exfoliation. This type of exfoliation works well on my skin as it can be sensitive and sometimes sore from acne.

Once you’ve removed the mask and patted your face dry, you instantly notice the difference this product makes. It left me with radiant and brighter skin straight away. I wasn’t left with that tight, dried out feeling either.

Interestingly, I was recommended to use the Kiehl’s Turmeric and Cranberry Seed Energising Radiance Masque first thing in the morning. Usually I’d use a masque before going to bed so this has been a new concept to me, but it does leave you with a lovely glowy face all day.

Bye bye dull skin. Thank you Kiehl’s.

I was kindly given a sample of Kiehl’s Turmeric and Cranberry Seed Energising Radiance Masque to try from the lovely team at Kiehl’s Brighton. Pop along to the store for a one-to-one consultation and to pick up a sample.

Kiehl’s Turmeric and Cranberry Seed Energising Radiance Masque costs £28 for 75ml.
